FOUNDERS

After decades of successful careers in music, Mississippi-born, Memphis raised, Kim Hill and Georgia pines, peaches + pecan lover, Paulette Wooten stepped off the fast track. In 2013, on a wing and a prayer, The Nashville Treehouse was birthed in a fantastic 1970s ranch-style home perched on a beautiful 5-acre lush setting. The dynamic duo began hosting intentionally small weekend events for women. They served up a restorative getaway featuring incredible food and drinks created by Chef Paully, new original music as 'Wooten Hill,' and enough good vibes to make even a skeptic believe in the good that comes from a weekend together in the woods.

In late 2018, they took an even more significant leap and moved to North Carolina, near Asheville, to continue their adventure. When Covid forced the retreat property, they'd spent 18 months renovating to close; the resourceful women pivoted to into new territory again by creating a line of products based on favorite food offerings. The best-selling candied pecan rub Paully's used for years to create delectable bacon for her guests kicked off the line in late 2020. Proceeds of sales fund Friends of the Treehouse 501c3 focused on those dealing with loss, grief, and crisis.
